    Talking Weight loss chalenge:Successes

Ok so we've posted our goals and all now its time to post our Successes.

Today I made fried pork chops, mac and cheese and green beans and only ate about 1/2 cup of the green beans and made myself some low fat walfuls, with promise butter(at only 5 calories per serving)and 1tbs light syrup with strawberries on tops.It was yummy and I made dh pack the rest of the pork chops for lunch tomorrow.I btw I love pork chops so this was hard for me,but it feels better in the long run.

For breakfast I had some thinnly sliced homemade wheat berry bread with lettuce tomatoe and sprouts..and skipped the mayo even though it was light..whoo hoo! (i had heard that jennifer anniston lost weight by cutting out mayo and butter don't know if it's true...but I'm going to try cutting it out more at least!)

I have lost two pounds since I last weighed myself
At first I thought the scale had broke

I just finished a 53 minute high intensity sweat inducing workout..I feel toner already

I drank water this morning..I've cut back a lot on soda's..and I bought the fixings to make homemade english muffin pizza's to keep from from eating the fatty round table ones!

My fridge is also litterally packed with healthy foods!

Well today I'm back on track (I got sick but am fighting it with Nyquil)

I had some whole wheat bread with reduced fat Peanut Butter, honey and sliced apricots

Then I did a 38 minute workout with Denise Austin's show that comes on in the morning (It was stretching, and intraval training)

The only negative was that one of the things we had to do was these leg/butt raises with a weight stuck in the bend of our knee and mine fell right on my calf! OUCH! But i finally figured it out

Hi, I'm a newbie! I'd love to join your group if that's ok?
I've lost 6 pounds since June 1. My goals are:
to go from 228 lbs to 150 lbs.
to exercise on a regular basis.
to eat what's right for my body so I feel good, to be careful of carbs and cut out all junk foods, to drink plenty of water.

Breakfast was a spoon of natural peanut butter and a cup of milk.
Lunch was a crustless pizza and a sugar-free popsicle.
Dinner was 3 pieces of lean bacon, green beans and tomato slices.
    Snack was some cashews.

congrats amanda! I'd love to be xl on top too
I never blossomed until like my junior year!

Guess I'll mention that I'm now almost at my ideal weight...thanks to sticking to working out at least 50 minutes 3 times a week, instead of 30 like I used to!
(ok that and not pigging out as much)

I can't remember what I started out weighing when this thread started..BUT I do know that there was a point not too long ago (2 months ago?) where I gained and was getting close to 121..
But I just weighed in this morning, and I'm at 111! So 10 pounds lost is a great thing!! I feel so much better, and TONS more energectic than before! I used to sit at the computer as long as possible but NOW I can't stay on more than 10 minutes at a time!

woo hooo..that and my husband seems a lot happier about how I look too
Ok now my goal is to get those dimpled toned arms all those actresses/models have

The dimple toned arms like Jennifer Aniston and Heather Locklear, yep that's what I'm shooting for too.And to get the dimples out of my butt.lolGreat job guys!It does help to have people going through the same thing you are going through.I have bumped up my workout by going to the park and walking for an hour while pushing ds in the stroller and dd riding her bike beside us.And at night after dinner I take ds out around the neighborhood which is 1.25 miles threw the whole thin and then push dd in the stroller one time too so she won't feel left out, which is great cause she weighs 42lbs and pushing her up hill is a great workout for my whole lower body.
