Where will your vacation take you this year?
We've decided we are going to explore our province rather than travelling any long distances this year. There is just so much to explore. I'd love to hit has many antique shops we can find.
What about you?

Not sure yet, but I know we will do some day trips. Main one is to go meet and visit Darlene!

I would love to go to VA again, but we'll have to see how the finances are and whether it is do-able or not. If not, no problem, I have plenty to keep me busy around here.

We are taking a trip to DC this April. We need to go to Louisiana to look for a house but any trip to do something like that and visit in-laws is not a vacation. We have also thought about going to Reno. Other than that the next trip we take will be moving to Louisiana. Hopefully we will do some sight seeing on the way there.

We've already been to GA and we'll be heading over to Orlando in May for the state homeschool convention. I have no idea what we'll do later this year.

Well, we were planning a trip to Florida to se DH's grandparents, but changed our minds when DH's mother told us they (grandparents) wouldn't come to pick us up at the airport. We are NOT renting a car just to get to their house and back.
But we will still be taking our yearly trip to Cape May. For the first time this year, we are renting a townhouse rather than a house. We are also a lot further away from the beach than we usually are, because (for the second year in a row) one of the owners of the two houses we rent backed out after it was too late for us to get anything closer and still have everyone able to go the same week.
But even still, I can't wait. I think we will find new places to explore, and if we really can't stand it, we can always go back toward the beach next year.

We are going to the beach-Mrytle Beach. Well, we hope to, if gas keeps going up like it is, we will probably reconsider.

We may take a few day and weekend trips to the beach this year, but nothing really long. We are trying to save anything extra for a skiing vacation in December.

I'm jealous! I love Cozumel. We stayed there a few years ago. Every time that Corona beer commercial comes on with the couple relaxing on the beach, DH and I remember doing exactly that on a beach in Cozumel. Enjoy!Originally posted by PrairieRose
We have a pre-paid voucher for a week's stay in Mexico (Cozumel) so I'm pretty sure we'll be going there this year again.
We're planning a week in southern Ohio (Portsmouth) renting a cabin at a state park. We're sharing our cabin with my sister and her boyfriend, and my parents and other two sisters will be in the cabin next door. We've never vacationed with family before, so, we'll see how it goes!

Vacation? We have never had a vacation (or honeymoon) in our ten years of marriage. Our tenth anniversary is this year, and I wish we could go somewhere, do something, but unless we win the lottery (we don't play, just kidding) we won't be going anywhere. Most of our married life, we have not even been able to manage any time off together to be home "on vacation". Either Jon has not been able to get time off, or I haven't. We did not even get to see my oldest dd graduate from college (out of state) last December, because we couldn't get time off, or afford to make the trip. She has not spoken to us since.

Well I am going to Vegas in 15 days to visit old friends for three days and we plan on doing a summer camping trip with the family. Dh is going on a cross country motorcycle trip in june. And I will probally take the kids to an amusment park at some point this summer. Our summer is proving to be full already so it will be hard to fit anything else in. All our trips are pre-paid excet for the camping but we will only need supplies.

We're headed to Rochester NY for my nephew's wedding June 18th, then to Lancaster PA for my cousin's wedding on June 25th.
Sometime in late Sept or early Oct- we'll be in San Diego CA for my son's Marine Boot Camp graduation.

Might be going to PA for a few days this may to visit family. Otherwise we will be spending a day at seaworld orlando but we will drive home at night. Takes about 2-3 hour drive depending on traffic.
