Oh girls, I don`t know what I`m going to do!
I am so much not in shape! I feel exhausted EVERY single day! I know I have to go for blood tests for diabetes, thyroid and many others, but sheesh! I can`t beleive how tired I am!

I`ve been also trying lose weight, but I`m on hold since a month. I hardly have any motivation... I go to a weight loss board and I was going to WeightWatchers, but I always feel so week and tired, and exhausted! I know it`s not the WW,but still I need to lose this extra weight...I am borderline diabetic. My father is a very sick diabetic. My grandfather, too was diabetic.
Anyone here, have this desease? Or feel EXHAUSTED?
I need such a long break and rest from my family, too. As much as I love being a mom and love my boys, I am tired, very tired...

It sounds like it might be your thyroid. When my mom had trouble with hers she couldn't get much of anything done because she was so exhausted. Thyroid problems can also slow or stall weight loss. She ended up getting hers "burned" out and now takes synthetic thyroid. She feels 100% better.
When I am feeling really sluggish I try to eat more protein and exercise more. I know exercise is not fun (at least for me) but afterwards I feel like I can take on anything. Even a 10 minute walk around the neighborhood might perk you up a bit.
I know weight watchers can be a bit carb heavy, so maybe you might want to watch that a bit. I found when I was doing WW I was eating a lot of "junk" (granola bars, cereal, ice cream bars) because they were low in points. Try to eat more whole foods and whole grains. Chicken, fish and eggs are all pretty low in points and a good source of protein.
Feel better soon.

Epstein Barr virus also makes you very tired. Make sure your Doc tests for this too.

I`m sorry Carla to hear you are tired too.
Amanda, I never heard of that virus? What is it?
Christie, And I forgot...my mom and sister have hypothyroidism! What a memory I have! They are on medication. But last year, aparently my thyroid was ok. Maybe this year it has changed...
I was thinking about this, too: That with WW I was not eating enough protein, and too much carbs. I`ll all look at these options. Hoping I will feel better soon.
Thanks everyone....
