Have you ever cut your own hair?
With clippers?
My hair is driving me nuts, I don't like it long (which it is right now for me) and have been thinking of attacking it with the clippers. LOL
What do ya think, should I try?
Hey, it's only hair, it'll grow back, right? RIGHT????

My MIL used clippers when her hair started coming back in after the Chemo. My friends hubby always used them on her.
I haven't done it myself but just cut dh's hair this week with them.
If you want to, do it! Yes, it will grow back.

Oh no, I thought it might come to this.
Maybe Jack can step into his workshop and come up with some tools to "help" you with the job.
My vote is to make an appointment and talk to the beautician about the coloring too while your there.

yikes! with clippers? take some more time to think about it....maybe go to the salon for ideas, or tie your hair back if its getting in the way...anything before doing something so drastic. i cut everyone's hair here...learned by watching. i can trim & feather my own bangs, but dh has to trim the back for me b/c i'm afraid of screwing it up...i can almost sit on it.

I use the clippers to trim the hair on my neck that grows all the way down my neck...but otherwise NO! I can't believe you're really thinking about it Dee
If you do, please post pics. Who knows? You might start a new hairstyle trend.

I use the clippers on my hair all the time. My suggestion is to put a large gaurd on them and try that first. It's not as scary as you may think and once you get it down it is easy. It is simple to cut your own hair one you learn. I really like the way I do it better than when I go to a shop. I cut everyone's hair in the house, including the dog! lol Good luck! I'll help in anyway I can.

Not with clippers. I do trim my bangs though but not brave enough to do anything else.
