    Default Anyone have osteoporosis

    Does anyone have osteoporosis and if so, what are you doing for it beside taking medication?

    I do not have it, however my mother does. She has shrunk several inches in the last 15 years and has had some bad bone breaks.

    She takes medication and also does a lot of walking and physical therapy.

    Her predicament makes me extra wary of my own situation --- I am not menopausal yet -- so I walk a lot and try to eat a lot of yogurt. I would take calcium supplements but they play havoc on my digestive system.
