Stuck and slipping up!
I am soooooooooooo stuck. I can't get past 13 pounds --- well, in fact, I've gained a couple back --- at least according to this morning's weigh in. And here are the main reasons for being stuck ----
The family bought ice cream over the weekend, and I admit I've had a couple of bowls. I've generally slipped up on my eating plan, so have got to get back to recording everything I eat and making sure I DON'T cheat.
I haven't been walking as much as I was a few weeks ago, largely because of the heat. But if I wait until about 8:00 p.m. to walk then it isn't so bad. When I walk, it is for 1 3/4 miles.
I've really really got to get past this stuck point, or I am afraid I will just give up and revert back and gain everything I've lost.~~Jean~~

Tsk Tsk, naughty family. I would suggest only keeping 3 spoons in the house, this way only your DH and children will be able to have ice cream.
Seriously though... I think the summer makes it really hard to keep on track. I thought it would be easier as there's lots of salad etc but it's not working that way really. i did my best and lost a lot of weight for the start of the summer and all those christmas parties seem so far away so the impetus has gone abit.
Anyway, I think going back to keeping a food diary is a good idea (we're having to start a daily spending log again as well as a food diary...) I don't think having some ice cream in itself is bad, but if you try to keep to the 80% healthy 20% unhealthy balance it's ok.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that if you keep plugging on as best you can with the healthy eating and walking when it's cooler etc then eventually you'll come full circle and the weight will start coming off again. It's better to maintain the weight you are now than to have to lose the whole lot again.
did that make sense?

I agree with Britbunny that you should try to at least maintain what you have lost so you don't have to start all over from the beginning. If you want to indulge in the ice cream once in a while, I think it is ok as long as you make sure you take your daily walk. You might ask the family to join you for a family walk after ice cream.
Don't give up on what you have started. You can do it!! I know you can!!~*Michelle*~

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies. I keep telling myself that "it can be done!" And you are right --- better to maintain where I am than to have to lose the whole and MORE again.
My family is supportive, but they also are too KIND and say, "You look fine, mom!" which is nice to hear, but......~~Jean~~
