Default Make a Meal game- counts calories-- and a good calorie site, too

http://www.calorieking.com/   (The make a meal game is in the right column about half way down the page.)

The game has you select fast food menu items and put them on your tray, then it calculates the calories/fat of your meal.  Very interesting!

Thanks very much for this link. I'm always looking for better places to find calorie/nutrition info, and this is a good one!

It's funny, I played that little game with Dunkin Donuts, and it ends up that darn chocolate covered donut is way better than the old fashioned cake one! I'm always getting on my boyfriend for eating the chocolate covered one, but now I feel dumb. Hey, well at least I know better now!!

...which is why I avoid fast-food like the plague. Well, that and the fact that I see grossly lipemic blood at least weekly, and it is not a pretty sight. Did you know if your have a high lipid count, your blood can turn pink instead of red because of the fats running through your blood stream? Yuck. (And just FYI, it can also reduce the accuracy of blood tests or make them impossible to perform altogether. Had a patient recently with gross lipemia, and we couldn't calculate his triglyceride level, which is very common with g.l., but we also couldn't attest to the accuracy of his blood chemistries and were unable to test him for Lyme disease altogether.)
