Strange spot
I don't know what it is..but it's a strange brown 'stain' on my arm (one that WON'T wash off) and it's very small, kind of shaped like the state of rhode island or massachusetts..It's been here for so long too! And I could have sworn one of the parts of this stain has migrated!!
I feel sooo weird
anyone know what this is?

Ladies, I speak from experience. Get it checked out. Chances are it is nothing, but if it is something, the sooner you catch it, the better off you are. I have had skin cancer removed twice and it was not fun. Not terrible, but not fun. More emotionally draining than anything else. Now I have to see a specialist 2 times a year. Go get it checked out by a dermatologist, especially if it is changing in size or shape.

I agree-call a dermatologist! It is probably nothing but better safe than sorry. They may just remove it and test it. It doesn't hurt to have removed, they will numb the area first.
Call your doctor NOW!

Please go see a dermatologist and have that spot checked. I had a bump on my nose for a few months, turned out to be skin cancer. Your spot might just be a spot and nothing else but it's really in your best interest to have it looked at.

Thanks everyone!
I think I'm noticing more spots, only one is a line, and there are a few more drop like spots also...I wonder if it's just part of getting old
I was kinda upset because I asked dh if we could see a doctor...he didn't seem to think it was that important..BUT when the neighbor girl came over to watch ayla and she complained about a migrain..he said to HER "go see a doctor right away!"
Ok, so now he's having me trace a line around the stain to see if it actually does move..he thinks it was my tanning lotion (i noticed this WAY WAY before i ever used it even) or a stain ..
But I will make him take me no matter what

Heather, For heaven's sake sweetie, have that spot checked. My DH has had skin cancer a couple of times. Probably isn't anything but, let a doctor decide if it needs to be removed.

If it hasn't been there before and it is growing, I think you better see a dr.! I have one on my right wrist, but it is a birthmark. My son has the same birthmark in the same spot.
Don't you let DH talk you out of going to the dr!~*Michelle*~

Thanks michelle!
Yesterday I pointed out to dh that it had moved AGAIN..he said "i don't think so" Lol lol who do you think spends more time looking at that thing?!
Anyways he finally said "do you want me to call? because you never said you did before" GOD that makes me mad! OF COURSE i want him to call and I'd ASKED him sooo many times in the past! I even complained how he cared more about the neigbor girls migraine than my spot!
I would call if i even knew who my doctor was, we are in the process of getting new ones and I know we got them, I don't know where the papers are though, and sometimes i think he doesn't know
But I did look it up, and it seems like all I have might just be skin spots..something called Lintigo? I can't remember the name..but this is SO embarrassing to me now

Awww Heather, don't be embarrassed! It's a valid concern, and any dermatologist will tell you that it's better to be safe than sorry!
