    Default waxing

Do you ever get anything waxed? I get my eyebrows waxed - in fact I need to make an appt this morning to get mine done. I know many women who have gotten a bikini wax but I'm too chicken! And the thought of the Brazilian wax terrifies me!!!!!

The only waxing I've done is to rub a candle over the edges of a drawer to help it glide smoother, lol.

I just get my eyebrows waxed. I'm too chicken to have anything else done. I found that taking naproxon or Ibruprofen before going to get a wax job, makes the pain minimal. I discovered this by mistake. I had taken the naproxon for a headache, and while I was having my eyebrows waxed, I was so relaxed. At first, I thought I was just tired and that's why it didn't hurt. Then, I realized I had taken an anti-inflammatory and that was why it didn't hurt.

If god had wanted us to be hairless, er down there, he would have made us look like Action Man/Barbie

    Now there's a thought, "Barbie get's a Bikkini wax"

Getting my eyebrows waxed doesn't usually hurt too bad....it's so much easier than doing it yourself.

I do eyebrows and bikinini. After you get used to it, it's not so bad. I'd do my legs, but it doesn't bother me to shave them.

I don't need to wax, and I very rarely have to tweeze.

Just last night my friends and I had girls night in...sauna, pedicure, manicure, waxing, drinks and pizza. We do this about once a month. The other girls waxed and I just thought how strange it looks doing it but it gets the job done.

If you take 2 tylenol (or equivalent) about 1/2 an hour before your visit it won't hurt as much. Also, the first time hurts the worst, then it gets better. Like your eyebrows... it just stops bothering you.

Never had anything waxed here. I still pluck some stray eyebrow hair but my eyebrows aren't bad anyway and I don't want them thin so, I just haven't gone to get them done. My sisters do so I might get talked into it one of these days. I'm never ever gonna wax any more "delicate" area though
