Gripey and I have made a choice to work towards a more healthy lifestyle
It's not like we drink like fish or anything but we have been very sedintary in our lifestyle. Gripey quit smoking in Feb. (an answered prayer!) and his recent health concerns have caused him to want to be more active. Sssoooo I've jumped on the bandwagon with him and we're working to make healthier food choices as well as limiting portion size and to get some exercise daily. We bought a gazelle (you know, annoying Tony Little "you can DO it!"???) about 3 months ago and were using it daily and then quit. Now we're re-committed to using it again. I'm really excited about this. I'm not expecting miracles in weight loss but if I can feel better and tone up, lose some weight at the same time, I'd be thrilled. Wish us luck folks, we need it.

That's fantastic, Lisa. Kudos to Gripey for quitting smoking as well

I have one of those gazelle things too...I got it this summer from my mother, but I have yet to use it. Maybe I'll do it this weekend.
You CAN do it...the rewards are amazing!

Good for you!
And it's great that he has quit smoking! That is a great money saver as well as a health benefit!

I want to loose a few pounds too (25) the same ones I packed on with each pregnancy.
But little time and a thyroid problem has made it a very frustrating experience.
I also have such a limited budget that we are living on Carbs and very few salads right now. But I to want to desperately loose those pounds, get some exercise and build some strength.
So I will be cheering you on! And if you have any low cost healthy tips to share pass it on!
Oh, and what is a gazelle?
