    Unhappy Scratch......scratch

Ugh - I have a horrible case of hives this morning. I cannot figure out why. I haven't eaten or drunk anything out of the norm, and I have on the same clothes I wore to church last night. I have them on my palms and in my ears..... ugh.....itchy.....itchy!

Sorry to hear that. Its probably stress. Try to get some rest and relax some. Bathing in warm water with baking soda always helps my itching. Then maybe some benedryl.

I just talked to the doctor's office and she told me to take benadryl. I did, but I really have too much to do to be sleepy today. Ugh. She thought it might be a delayed reaction to the Lexapro I am switching too. So, I have to see if this happens again tomorrow morning.

No fun. I was lucky- the lexapro did nothing to me. Of course, that includes the fact that it didn't work at all.

Anyway, I hope you lose the hives soon. I went through a phase about 5 years ago when I just kept getting them on my hands and couldn't figure out what it was. I had to keep running them under very hot water to relieve the itching, then slather them in benadryl lotion. Still don't know what it was, but it sure wasn't fun. Good luck!

A while back I got hives several times and it was awful! I hope you are feeling better.
