More good news - not
Well, I stopped by the doctor's office today to let them know that the hives were still with me in force. In fact, they were worse this morning than yesterday. The doctor gave me a new anti-depressant to start after the hives are gone, and some Zyrtec to take so I won't be so sleepy.
She then asked me if I had received my lab results from my last visit and I told her no. She said mine took longer because when she got them back two of my liver function results were elevated (not a lot, but still up). She sent it back and had a Hep B and Hep C + another test to check for autoimmune diseases done.
Luckily none of those came back positive, but she says I probably have "fatty liver". Sounds lovely doesn't it. Bottom line is I have to lose weight - no news to me, but hard to do. If I don't lose some, the increased fat cells can lead to cirrohsis.
So, once we get paid and can get some decent food in the house, I must start towing the line. SIGH......at least I know.

Soory to hear of all your going through! Don't know if helps but I read about milk thistle being really good for liver function.

A "fatty liver"? I guess no body part is safe!
I never heard that term before.
