Yes, I've always had a weight problem. Was "chunky" through my childhood.

I briefly slimmed down in my early teens and was actually in the "normal" weight range for my height (just a little over 5'6" and 138 lbs), but still felt like a blimp because all of my friends were 15-20 lbs underweight.

Starting at age 14 or 15, I began the climb up the weight charts, gaining 10 lbs a year. A couple of years ago I got down to near the top of the "normal" weight range, but last year I gained some back. Working on that again now.

I was about 20 pounds overweight until I turned about 19 then I lost about 25 pounds. Now I can eat like a cow and not gain a pound.

No, I was always very active as a child and was lean. In college, I gained a few, but lost them afterwards. I have a feeling, though, that after this baby, I might have a little bit of a struggle to lose the weight. I've gained 50 pounds so far and I still have 6 weeks to go.
