Default Do you drink green tea?

Does anyone drink green tea or any other "therapeutic"(sp??) type tea?

I drink green tea and a tea that is actually called TheraTea. I have been drinking green tea off and on for years. I am wondering if you do drink it daily, that you feel it has helped to keep you healthier.

Gripey and I have started drinking it recently but can't find a brand that we really care for. What type do you ladies drink?

    Lisa,

I buy Carrington Green Tea. It costs about $2 and is in most supermarkets.

I have tried and just cannot stand the taste no matter how I try to sweeten it.

I drink Lipton green tea both hot and cold. I can't say for sure whether it has kept me healthy, it certainly can't hurt.

I like Celestial Seasoning's Antioxidant Green Tea. It has 100% of the RDA of Vitamin C, and a mild citrus flavor. I don't sweeten it or anything.

I drink white tea; I think the package says it has even more antioxidents than green tea, and doesn't have that woody flavor.

Dave has convinced me to drink it more. He drinks at least 3 cups every day.

He likes Bigelow brand and prefers the flavored kinds like blueberry or pomegranate.

I like the already brewed bottled kind by trader Joe's. It's blueberry pomegranate, and it's unsweetened. It can be served hot or cold, but I prefer it cold. I can't wait to make it back to TJ's to buy more.

Yes, I have been drinking green tea for years. (2004) I drink bigelow green tea with mint ... tea bags ... and sweeten it with splenda. I think the bottled teas have an aftertaste ... they taste like instant tea to me.

I have also drunk the white tea with pear flavor. It is very mellow.

I have some gunpowder green tea that I brew up occasionally. It is a loose leaf tea where each leaf is rolled into a little pellet. I've found most of the tea-bag types are very bitter and some have off flavors.

Many of the health claims made for green tea are unsubstantiated, and for the ones that can be proven you have to drink 5 or more cups every day to get the benefit.

There's also some new research that says black tea may be just as effective as green. Mostly I just drink tea because I like it.
