Default My mom is in the hospital

My sister called me earlier today to tell me they took her in last night. They admitted her into the hospital because they think she is having mini-strokes. I would love to be there with her, but am not able to be right now. My sister will keep me posted and let me know if anything changes. I called the hospital earlier, but the dr. hadn't come in to check on her yet. I plan on calling later and getting an update.

From the sound of it, my sister said she seems to be doing well. So hopefully she is on the road to recovery.

Hopefully the TIAs will not cause any permanent damage- my FIL had two and ignored them completely, but they left not permanent damage. Your mother can take this opportunity to begin whatever regimen the docs recommend to keep her healthy in the future.

I'll keep you both in my thoughts.

I know how scary this must be for you. I remember when my mom was in the hospital for the same thing. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you all for your hugs, prayers and get well wishes.

She has been released from the hospital and is on the road to recovery. They put her on some meds and will monitor her through dr. visits. She seems to be doing well.
