DH's pancreatitis kicking in again!
Last May, dh was hospitalized with pancreatitis attacks. Wellll, it's happening again, only this time we have no insurance until the end of this month! I only hope that he will be okay! Any advice?

Do you have a free clinic? Maybe you could call his doctor and explain his condition and that you will not have health insurance until the end of the month. Maybe he will give him something to relieve the symptoms since he has already treated him in the past. At the clinic we visit, they give discounts for patients paying with cash instead of insurance. I would call and ask.
I hope he gets some relief soon.~*Michelle*~

I'm so sorry to hear this! Michelle gave you some good advice - it never hurts to ask. I would even call your state's medical association to see if they have any ideas.

I would surely call the dr. that treated him before and explain the situation as suggested above. Surely he will help. I'm sorry, I understand that this is a terribly painful condition, not to mention how serious it is.

He feels a little better now, the doctor that I work for will treat him for free, we just have to worry about if they put him in the hospital. The doctor that treated him before is in PA. So far he is doing alright, so we will wait and see. Thanks for all of the advice!

So sorry he is having trouble with this. My dad suffers from it and I know it can be very painful. Hope he feels well soon.
