    Naturally Fresh Breath
Bad breath can stem from the foods you eat, food particles left in your mouth (which breed foul-smelling bacteria if not brushed or flossed away), medication, or simply not eating or drinking. It also can be caused by a medical condition, so see your physician if you're not sure. Whatever the cause, here are some natural breath fresheners that won't introduce nonnutritive sweeteners into your diet or generate bacteria:
Reach for a sprig of parsley, basil, or sage.
    Down a glass of water.
Munch on citrus fruits or fennel seeds.
Suck on a piece of cinnamon bark.
