    Default I think FV and my "new" frugality have made WW easier

    The whole "deferred gratification" thing that I had to learn with frugality has made WW much easier. I don't think of it as depriving myself anymore. It's more of a "saving" for when it's worth it to splurge calorie wise.

    Anyone else notice similarities?

    Oh absolutely! I actually deferred a chocolate brownie craving for a week until Valentine's Day. I had 2 brownies that day and then got rid of the rest of the pan of brownies. I was soooo proud on so many levels. Now I'm "caught up" on my chocolate craving and back at it hard again.

    I don't do WW, but am on Slim Fast and I totally agree.

    funny thing! I just joined WW last night and during the new member speel- I drifted off in thought....
    If I can be frugal- cut costs- reduce spending so I have a surplus of money, think about what I'm spending money on- wait a day before actually purchasing it;
    then I can certainly apply the same principles to weight loss.

    I agree that FV has helped me too- and made it easier to make the decision.
