Well, I'm off to see an NP.
I just can't shake whatever this is. My teeth started hurting again last night, and this morning (TMI WARNING!!!!!!!) I blew my nose and the second time, there was blood and plenty of it, and not the kind you get from dry nares.

Called my MD's office a little while ago and found out she is not in today, and they can't fit me in at her office. They are part of a larger system, though, and they can get me in at the office in the next town over, so we shall go see if I have the first infection of my adult life. I honestly can't remember the last time I had any sort of infection- I had to have been in my early teens. I know the last time I was on antibiotics (4.5 years ago) but that was a preventative measure because I got a carpet staple in my foot and have had septicemia in the past.
So, when you next hear from me, I should have an answer of some sort.

Thanks, everyone. I have a "rip-raoring" sinus infection, according to the guy I saw. He was fine- I was in and out quickly, which was good because I feel lousy, but I had to wait an HOUR to get my prescription filled. The really annoying thing was all they had to do was check it over- they gave me a sealed, ready-ro-go bottle that they pulled off the shelf.
I knew I was in trouble when my teeth started hurting again last night. They did last week, but that was like a pressure pain- this is more like a (ANOTHER TMI WARNIING!!!!) those-little-buggers-are-eating-into-my-bone kinda' pain.
Anyway, I have an infection for the first time I can really even remember. I know I had ear infections as a little kid, and I think I had a sinus infection once as a young teen, but I honestly haven't had a single thing since then.
This REALLY stinks!!!!

Glad you got some meds and hope they kick in quick.

That was some kind of storm that went thru, did you have any probs Kimberly? Our power has been out since 11:30 and just came back on. Heard a tree came down on 20 in Duanesburgh.
Don't think I've ever seen wind like that, going to watch the news tonight and see what happened elsewear.~*Darlene*~
