    Question Aveeno?

I'm still looking for good, natural, affordable face products. I will probably keep using the swiss ives face wash and scrub because it's cheap and some of the products do not contain mineral oil or parabens. I'm still looking for moisturizer. Does anyone use aveeno products? If so, I would like to know what you think.

I've used Aveeno before and I like it. I used some samples from my dermatologist. I did buy a full size bottle, but I haven't used it consistently yet. It's not very expensive, and usually you can find coupons for it.

If you're looking to avoid parabens, Aveeno contains them.

You can check out various products and their ingredients here - http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2/index.php

I'm still searching for something I'm happy with as well. I'm condsidering trying the Aubrey line (I use the shampoo and conditioner and am happy with it).

I have combination skin, with rosacea. And I like as few ingredients as possible, since I already have to use a prescription lotion.

I use jojoba oil: I buy Desert Essence at Trader Joe's and a bottle lasts so long I'm not sure just what I paid for it. I wet my hands, then smooth maybe half a teaspoon over my (dry) face before washing. That emulsifies the oil and acts as a make up remover. Then I wash with Kiss My Face olive oil soap (just found some on close out at CVS for $1.50 for a big bar, too). Then pat dry and use my rosacea lotion. Then a bit more jojoba oil, just a couple of drops kind of patted over my face mostly in the dryer areas. Works great, minimal cost and as few chemicals as I can manage.

Sue, thankyou, I am another one, with touchy skin and I have been thinking about that Aveeno one that calms redness. I'll have to look into jojoba oil.
