    Question Weight Very Odd :-(

I don't understand My weight has not gone up or down since I lost 8 pounds, but I look slimmer and my chin and neck are thinner. Not sure what's going on.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Have you been exercising? If so, that could be the reason.

I agree, if you've been exercising, you are turning fat into muscle! YAY! If you look and feel thinner than whatever your doing is working.

You could be losing inches.... Have you measured yourself since you started your diet?

No exercising just a little more walking, don't think its enough to matter. Have not measured myself, afraid to look at tape measurer

I guess my fear is that this is where my weight will remain if I am firming up at 149. I have never been on a serious diet so don't about the ins and outs (or ups and downs ) of dieting.

Don't worry, it's a good thing. If the wlking is firming the muscle, the muscle will then burn more calories, helping to take off fat weight. Muscle weighs more than fat as well.
For your health, it's the inches that matter most. Focussing to much on the lbs can sabotage you.
I've had some compliments lately as well, as the jeans feel looser, but no cange on the scales. I figure if I focus on sticking with the eating plan and finding exercise oppportunities everyday, and not weigh myself for a while maybe I won't get that helpless feeling about the numbers.
Keep your chin up and have faith, you can do this, even if it takes time!!
