Foods With Texture
Do you find that you are more satisfied after eating foods that you have to crunch and chew, as opposed to foods that go down smoothly?
Foods with texture are imminently more satisfying to me than foods without. For example, yogurt. I LOVE yogurt. But, I'd rather eat something that needs to be chewed. Even if I only have one bite of something crunchy, it's more satisfying than a whole yogurt. Maybe it's cuz I feel like I'm working for it. I don't know.

I definatly prefer foods with crunch.

Edited to add: I prefer more of a chip crunch, not a carrot crunch. LOL

I agree, Amy. If it is something with a soft texture, I make an effort to really "feel" it when I am eating it. I think you get the flavor more when you actually chew, too.

Sometimes the creamy texture is what I'm craving, so it depends on my mood I guess.
One thing I used to do with yogurt: sprinkle some Grape Nuts cereal in the yogurt. Then you get lots of texture and "bite" but still have the creamy yogurt taste.
