colonoscopy
On Wednesday I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy because I was having some problems. They found and removed two polyps, one was 3 cm in size and inflamed (I looked at a ruler with cm's, that is big!) and the Dr. said that was probably the cause of my problems. They sent everything to pathology, hopefully it's not cancer. The bigger the polyp, the higher chance of it being cancerous.
Thank God, Thank God, Thank God DH and I have double insurance through his job and mine. Two mediocre insurances equals one good one LOL. I looked on the website for my insurance company to see what claims have been submitted and stressed myself out seeing how much just two Dr. visits and two blood draws cost. My insurance company is already screwing things up (they sometimes do) so I have to call them on Monday.
I also have to call the Dr. on Monday to find out when the pathology report will come in. They told me, but the sedation they gave me wipes out short term memory so I have no memory of anything they said to me. All I remember afterwards is drinking some soda, getting dressed and being wheeled to my car in a wheelchair. DH doesn't remember because he said I seemed alert and responsive so he didn't bother trying to remember details, it wasn't until the next day when I started asking him questions that he realized that I have no memory of anything. He did tell me about all the funny things I said under sedation, it was quite comical but I'm also a bit embarrased because apparently I teased a male nurse without realising it (all very innocent)
Ah, well, lets hope all goes well for me!“When you get to the end of all the light you know

I'm so glad you went and had the procedure done. Hoping for good news when you see the doc on Monday.

Lol, about the male nurse.~*Darlene*~

Hoping the news is good. I have had several polyps removed and they have all been fine.

Good news. The Dr.'s office called me for follow-up and I asked about the biopsies. Everything's negative.
Thank you all for the support!
