Default I'm having a hard time forgiving myself

About 7 years ago I joined WW and lost 80+ pounds. It was great and I loved it. Needless to say I got married and had a kid. So DH and I have started again (his first time). It's just not as easy this time and I think part of it is that I'm just so pissed at myself for having slid SOOOOO far back.

Ughhh...and I have to get over myself or it's going to be a block.

I don't really have any words of wisdom. You can only live in the moment and at the moment you are working on fixing the problem. You can get mad at yourself or you can get mad at the weight and tackle it with that anger.
    You've lost 12lbs so far, that's fantastic!
    You can do it!

You have to stop beating yourself up. Things happen. Do keep a food journal and exercise even if it is only walking. You can do this.

Look at the wonderful boy that you got out of it. Even if it isn't as easy this time, you DID do it before. You can do it again. Good luck!!

I just wanted to say I understand how you feel. I am harder on myself than anyone else would ever be. But think of the energy we waste when we beat ourselves up. I will try to count my blessings and I hope you will do the same. God has blessed us with precious children. Now there's a blessing that counts.

I know exactly how you feel, but you know what? You can't change the past. One day at a time and no regrets.

You are doing great--don't give up!

Ok, so you've spent enough time on it. We've all been younger, more beautiful, thinner at some point in our lives. You've started over and the only way to be successful is to let go of the past and concentrate on the future.

You absolutely can do this! Hang in there.

    Mojo,
I can honestly say I know how you feel. I weighed 400lbs when I had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2002. I got to a low weight of 215lbs and now I weigh 265lbs..it's a long story..DH getting sick, going thru depression, ALOT of emotional eating. I just joined WW online today....I want to give it a go and lose the rest of this weight myself. Don't beat yourself up..we are all only human. If you want, we can support eachother...Sounds like we could both use some support. Just remember...you are WORTH it!!
