Thumbs up I love this Moisturizer!!

First, a disclaimer: I know that this is a frugal website and I am a very frugal person who has been using inexpensive face products all my life, but I don't spend much money on myself (i.e.: I don't dye my hair, don't buy new clothes, don't get my nails done, pluck my own eyebrows, trim my hair once a year, etc.) so I splurged once and LOVE this moisturizer:

It's Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford. One weekend, I saw the informercial and decided to try it. It was $30 or $40 bucks for a 30 day supply that had a money back guarantee.

I've been using it for over a month now and my face feels so new, so soft and I love this set. It comes with cleanser, moisturizer for morning and one for evening, eye cream, neck cream, a masque.

Now I have VERY SENSITIVE SKIN. I have lupus, the strand that affects the skin and I can't use anything with fragrance. Only allergen/fragrance free detergents and fabric softeners work for my skin.

Since I've been using this product, many people have told me that my skin looks good and one lady even told me that she thought I was 19!! (I'm 27)

Anyway, thought I'd share this with you. It may sound like a lot of money, but to me, I want to look young as long as I can and it's well worth the money since I have cut out so many other beauty pampering expenses and salon costs out of my life.

Have any of you seen this or tried it?

    Wendy,

I am not familiar with the product, but I have seen Cindy Crawford on televsion. I am sure that's what she was talking about. I have to admit that the price is a bit too much for me. However, it is not just the price, I am not good with monthly things. Not even 30 day supply vitamins.

How cool that you were taken for a 19 year old. With all that you don't do, I think you desearve your creme. Especially since your skin is so sensitive. good luck with it.

Hey frugality is so that you can spend your savings on the things that matter to you!

You go girl and don't feel guilty.

I indulge in a few things myself. Yes we can cut them out if need be, but frugality is a sort of wage that is earned, and it's up to you how to save it or spend it, and how to live your life.

And if you find something that is worth the price, it's great, because sometimes it really does matter and when you have it to spend it's ok.

If you are in debt to the eyeballs, and bankruptcy looms, then maybe not so much, but if you are paying for your luxuries thru your frugality, then more power to you!

I agree with Margery! Save $$$ so you have it to spend on the things important to you!

I've never heard of it but I'm finally getting to the point where I've found a skin care combo that works for me. its so difficult to get that. Most moisturizers cause breakouts for me. Anti-aging lotion?? Sure...after applying it I wake up with a face full of acne. just like when I was 17....

I absolutely adore Johnson and Johnson's pH 5 face cream. But it's so hard to find.
