Try Crisco or olive oil. If that doesn't work try vitamine E oil or cream.
Anyway those are the ones that came to mind.

I was going to suggest vitamin E oil. My hands crack when we use the wood stove and I started using the vit E oil on them. It took a few days, but the cracks healed up and stayed away. I was slathering on lotion constantly and it wasn't doing any good.

Cocoa butter from the Dollar Store is good for dry skin. Rub it on your feet at night and sleep in white cotton socks.

The very best remedy for dry/cracking feet is this: before bed, slather your feet with Vaseline and then place a sock over it. When you Wake up in the morning your feet will feel like a baby's foot.
This is an excellent remedy and if you do it once a week, your feet will stary beautiful!! It is the only remedy I know which gives 100% pure awesome results. I use it all year long, to keep my feet staying pretty.

How to Make Hand and Foot Cream
Dry hands and feet will become smooth and soft overnight if you use this banana hand and foot cream!
Ingredients
1 banana
4 tbsp. of honey
3 tbsp. of lemon juice
2 tbsp. of natural margarine
Steps
1. Mix the ingredients together until they form a cream. It's much easier if you use a blender, but a fork and a bowl will do.
2. Rub the mixture on your hands and wear gloves (even socks on your hands if you don't have gloves) to bed.
3. Rub the mixture on your feet and wear heavy socks to bed.
Remove your gloves and socks in the morning.
4. Wash your hands and feet.
Tips
You can adjust the ingredients to make it a "paste" rather than it being gooey!
Warnings
Don't use this mixture if you are allergic to honey, bananas, lemons, or margarine!

I third the Vaseline motion!
I've tried the Vaseline method too but be sure you have carpeting en route between bathroom/bedroom. I have tile flooring and since vaseline is greasy it went through socks real quick. When I tried to go wash my hands I SLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID down the hallway
Or put on slippers after you put the socks on.
I use a pumice stone (can be found at local dollar stores) and use it every other day at very end of my shower. Scrub a few mins per heel/foot. I apply a foot CREAM (reg body lotion wont work) - ie Freeman's Foot Lotion - contradictory I know but its so greasy, thick and rich, creamy that its good! Then do the sock/slipper thing for rest of night until next am. For the extra bonus I will do vaseline the oddtime too.
