The best advice I can think of is to set little goals for yourself. Break however much you want to lose into 5 lb. goals. This is easier to accomplish and easier to deal with psychologically. Whenever I've lost weight before, I found it helped to "psyche" myself out. And my advice is to weigh yourself only once a month. This really helped me. Daily weighing doesn't always show improvement, but those scales will move in a month and you won't be putting yourself through the day to day trauma. You can do this. Do it for you, not dh, not the kids, not your best friend. Do it for you, because you want to do it. HTH

I'm doing it on my own. I used to go to the meetings, but am better off by myself. Water, water, water!

I am doing it, but right now I am frustrated and can not offer you any kind of suggestions because everything I am doing, is not moving the scale too much. But, I am drinking lots of water. Best of luck to you
