    Default Teeth bleaching

Do the Crest Whitestrips work? Or the other systems out there that are a bit cheaper? My teeth aren't as pearly white as they used to be and I'd like to do something about it.

I think before using any teeth bleaching/whitening agents I'd talk to my dentist. I've heard most dont work well but can also damage your teeth. So I'd get professional advice first

Thanks, tooth damage I definitely do not need! I have an appointment with the dentist next week, I'll talk to him about it then.

Good, I think the program I was watching that had the information was 20/20 or the Today show or something like that(memory fails me a lot) but let us know what your dentist has to say about it, I'd kind of like to know for sure. BTW crest strips have been onsale here for $36 a box...ouch

I talked to my dentist about teeth bleaching yesterday, he said the stuff you buy at the store is weaker than what they use in the dental offices so sometimes people get really agressive with it and then they end up with problems. He said the teeth whitening kits are fine to use...IN MODERATION.

Thanks for the info, as a smoker i've thought of using them but after the "horror" stories I've seen on the tube I was afraid to try them, cost still might keep me away ....

I've been thinking about trying a kit myself. If anyone else does, please post your opinions.......
