Default Did anyone ever have cysts?

Well yesterday i started getting pains just like when I Ovaulate!! very twinggy and painful, quick ones. At first i thought it was my bladder, beacuse there semed to be pressure and little bit of pain following. So i started drinking good old cranberry!!! It works, have used it before. But now I'm wondering whats the signs of cysts in your ovaries? see i have no burnng pee, so I know it cant be my bladder. I had afriend who had cysts and all my sideof family got them at one time or other, but had other female probs too. Any info would be helpful. Ill give it another day or so then this weekend Ill go to hosp. to get checked .

    I have them....or did

had them removed a few years ago then had more pop up last year.

Years ago I didn't know it - they found them on a hip xray.

but last year I had severe cramping, almost like labour pains when I had periods, and when not menstruating I had a permanent ache. I just went on a strong anti inflammatory - which is supposed to shrink them (just what I was told...) mine ended up rupturing and being really painful then nothing. they went out with a bang as dh says.

I also have them. I get severe cramping during my time of the month. I also have pain in my lower abdomen region from time to time. I don't have a constant pain like others may have. My gyn put me on some birth control that is suppose to relieve the symptoms.

If you think you have cyst, please see your dr. I would have a check up anyway to rule out any other illness.

I thought i was having a side effect from a laxative addiction i had, and one morning i litterally had to crawl to dh (before he was dh, lol) and he called my dad to take to me to hospital... they said one had ruptured and i had another.. i tried bc pills but i cant be on them, they whack out my system too much... i have, and it sounds like some of you have, the kind that come and go throughout cycles, which is actually somewhat normal, but painful..

unfortunately, there are kinds that continue to grow and need to be removed because of their size... ones that are that large can rupture and actually be life-threatening because the fluid inside can cause infection... when mine ruptured they had to do the ultrasound twice because by the time the ultrasound tech went and got the radiologist, all my organs had shifted! no wonder it hurts to bad!!

I had one that ruptured and it was very painful. I thought it was my appendix at first. A few years later I was getting the pain again but it wasnt as bad. My GYN put me on some kind of hormone pill to shrink them and it worked. I am lucky so far they didnt come back and I have been off the medicaiton for several years now.

Well I went to the doctor and never seen anything, i started period 3 days ago, he thinks it must of busted or aint big enough to show anything. I think it busted. No pain now. but its been a very heavy flow. usually im use to this but really , really bright red. Oh well. he told me to come back agin if I get any pains and keeep track monthly, staring , ovulation, and ending of it. I told him 12 years ago i did that with GYN/OB beacuse i always had problems and he gave me papare with many differnt kinds of things on it, like desciption of fluid , color, etc.
