Kidney stones?

19 yr old dd has been having blood in her urine for the past couple of weeks, she may have kidney stones. She also is underweight by 15 lbs. and has stress on her body. The doctor has ordered up a ton of tests. Has anyone ever had this?

My ds and his wife both had kidney stones within a year of each other. I don't think they had to undergo many tests, though. They were both in extreme pain, so the Dr. just kinda went with his instincts.
I'll say a prayer for your dd.

My oldest DS (24) has them frequently. He has undergone lithotripsy 5 times and now has a large staghorn stone that they are going to have to go into his kidney through his back and retrieve. He has lots of pain with his and always knows when he gets them. They don't know why he gets them so frequently but the poor kid sure suffers with them.

I hope that your DD does not have them and that it is just an infection that they can clear up with meds. I will keep her in my prayers.
