Then only thing that works well for me is the OTC extra strenght sinus medicines like Tylenol Extra Strenght Sinus, but I buy the store brand or generic version.

I like to take the night time formula and then take a nice long hot shower and get in bed, take a nap and usually my headache goes away nicely.

I am so thankful they make sinus headache pills because nothing else ever worked for me before they came out.

I also found out that the cold and flu forumula of tylenol and generics have the same ingredients, usually. Check and see. Sometimes the flu meds are cheaper and I stock up on those.

Good Luck and I hope you find relief soon!

Slowtypinwoman always sings the praises of the netti pot. Search the forums for it and check out the website.

Oil of oregano is a lifesaver for me~! My son also takes it for his allergies.

I hate taking medicine, so what I do (and I have a sinus headache more often than not) is to sniff some water up my nose. It sounds gross, but it works really good. Wehn you take a shower, get the washcloth really wet adn lay over your nose. Breathe in deeply through your nose and small amounts of water will be sucked up your nose. Do this several times (about 5 minutes) and when you get out of the shower, just blow your nose really good. If I'm at work or just cant' get to hot water/shower, just get your fingers wet and sniff the water up your nose . . .I swear it works!!!

Plus drinking a Mt Dew helps me also, but that's because it's liquid green crack . . .

I use the water method too Mandidawn and it helps me. I also use some tiger balm on my temples and the back of my neck. This helps me.

I use my son's clarinex (allergy med). The last time I went to the dr with a bad sinus headache he suggested that I take the clarinex for a few days and it worked.

I kept getting sinus headaches and sinus infections. The doctor suggested allergy testing after doing a cat scan. As a result of the allergy testing, I found out that I am allergic to wheat. It's hard but when I go long periods without consuming any wheat, I don't get sinus headaches at all. It may be something you are eating that is causing your headaches.
