Proud Momma Brag!!

I had previously mentioned that Chris is attending CampLT. This is a football camp put on by LaDainion Tomlinson, San Diego Charger running back. He wants to give back to the community and do something for the youth. His motto is "Hard Work Pays Off!" At the conclusion of each night, there is a LT treat. I wasn't sure what this was about until last night, which was the first night they did this. Each coach points out an athlete that worked hard throughout the whole day. There is approximately 15 coaches and around 200+ kids. That means only 15 kids will get recongnized for the day. If your name is called you win some type of gift. I am proud to say that Chris was called for his age division!!

These children come from all over the state and out-of-state as well, as does the coaches and staff. So for him to go up against some top athletes and be recognized makes me smilea and want to do the happy dance.

Before we left the stadium last night, I had to call his high school football coach and brag to him. He is very proud of him too and just wanted to remind him not to get hurt because he needs him ready for the season.
