anyone fighting the flu bug?

my dd (age 3) has been burning up a sky high fever since yesterday. she has practically slept all day yesterday & half the day today. she is starting to feel better today.....fever is gone (thank god). her fever was so high last night she took her own clothes off & slept in her pull-up. i kept on making her drink fluids.......and she did pretty good with that. now i just hope none of the other kids catch it.........because if i catch it, everyone will be bumming around here.......lol.....cuz moms aren't supposed to get sick. luckily its a pretty quick flu bug & thankfully its not the vomiting flu!!!

Sorry to hear she is sick. Summer sickness is the pits! Glad she is starting to feel better now.

My 3 yo dgrandson is sick with the same thing. His mom was in the hospital over the weekend, so I was keeping him when he took sick. The Dr. said it's Strep, but it doesn't sound like it to me. But what do I know? We're hoping his 11 month old little brother and 2 yo cousin doesnt' get sick.

There is a stomach bug going around up here in northern IN, has been all summer, but this is the first time I have heard of the fever only. Hope all the kids get bettr soon.
