I'm so sorry hon {{HUGS}} I don't really have any tips except (as you mentioned) ginger ale and maybe some saltine crackers. You are in my thoughts.

Awww....I'm sorry you're feeling bad now, Julie

Can you take anything for the nausea? Like Emetrol? Did they prescribe anything for the nausea?

At any rate, I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you're feeling the nausea. My doctor gives me Phenergan which helps a lot when I have migraines, but I don't know if it would be appropriate in your case. Hope you're feeling better real soon

Okay I took a compazine, and also I put 2 shakes of powdered ginger into my generic ginger ale, and that seems to be helping. It doesn't taste bad either!!!!

Someone told me to get hard lemon candy and keep that in my mouth. Something about the sour helps with the nauseous feeling. Hope this passes soon!

Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly. I had a couple of co-workers who went through cancer and chemo. I don't have any personal experience, but I can relate what they told me. They tried different foods until they found what they could tolerate, and even then they could only eat a little bit. One of them would schedule her chemo rounds for early afternoon, she and her husband would go have a nice lunch somewhere just before her appointments. For her, the nausea would subside enough prior to her next chemo round for her to enjoy that lunch. Take care sweetie

Both my daughter and I had chemo and it affected us in completley different ways , Frances was only four and she would only eat things that had a strong taste and i went off pretty much everything , it was a bleak day when I discovered that the red wine tasted realy awfull .I slept a lot when I was having the chemo and somehow I felt just that little bit less sick each time I woke up.
Hang on in there I will be thinking of you and if I remember anything that worked well for me I will let you know.
