Default Head Injury or Wheelchair Bound

Is there any one out there dealing with being stuck in a wheelchair? Three years ago I wound up in a wheelchair due to a brain injury that went bad during the surgery.

i'm not wheelchair bound, but due to fibro i have had to use one a few times and had to rent a scooter when we went to Fl and disneyworld. my grandmother was wheel chair/scooter bound for almost as long as i can remember.
do you have questions or do you need support? we are all more than willing to listen to you if you need to vent and everyone here is here to give you supprt too.
and i'm sure if you have any sort of questions someone can answer it or know someone who can.

I hope you get some replies from people closer to your situation. I know there is one woman on this board who was critially injured a few years back - head and spine. She is recovering, slowly, and still has struggles.

I've been debilitated for two years with a foot injury...it's changed my perspective on people dealing with chronic pain. And yes, I use the electric scooters in the grocery store.

The big difference between you and I is that I'm scheduled for surgery next month and have an 85% chance of getting (a lot) better. That hope for my future means that I won't fully understand where you're at, but I'll be happy to listen.
