Do you have memory problems?
I've been having more and more problems lately. Trouble remembering to return phone calls, or respond to emails, stuff I need to get from the store, etc. I'm only 25, I shouldn't be feeling senile. LOL

I have memory problems for the last 12 years......... I have short term memory loss. Mine is caused from a blow to the back of the head.
I used to be known for my good memory.
FernYes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

Sari... have you been under alot of stress lately? That can definitely do it.
As for me... mine has to do with anxiety and I also believe peri-menopause.

~I'm 26 and I've noticed this too. My body is really starting to age all of the sudden. Grey hair and lines around my eyes at 26?!? Not what I expected when I was a little girl
! Joy is right about the stress thing. Stress, fatigue, blood sugar, depression and hormones wildly affect memory. My DH got that Brain Age game to train himself younger. I play it too when he lets me! It is important to not let your brain get lazy. Use your long term memory often. Draw a picture of something from memory. Do some math. Another thing that helps me is to make a routine and stick to it. I should be allotting 1/2 hour everyday to return calls and emails too. Maybe I'll add that in.~

I've got the gray hair coming in too. I thought I'd be at least 35 before that started happening!
There has been stress with my husband's illness, so that's a very good suggestion. I'm starting to take a vitamin and trying to exercise every day so I'm hopeful that will help with stress, and maybe in turn my memory.
LOL!

Once in a while I do. I attribute it to stress. And I just started getting gray hair in the last year or so. I thought for sure I wopuld have earned them a long time ago....LOL

I actually have been having trouble with my memory lately. It's not real serious, but things fly right out of my head as soon as I think them. I'll be at my desk, think of something that I need to do in the office. I'll get to the office and have no idea what I'm doing. I leave myself notes a lot because I need to remember to do things. Notes and lists are very helpful to me.

I'm a caregiver for my dad who has Alzheimer's and one thing I learned at a caregiver seminar was it's normal to forget where you put your car keys, it's a problem when you forget what the keys are for.
Exercise is a great way to clear your head and help deal with stress, I am glad to hear you are doing that.

I know this thread is older but I wanted to add that I too have FM and hate when I get foggy. Or you think of one word and another word pops out of your mouth. You want them to bring you a glass of water and you ask for a glass of doorknob. LOL
Comes with the territory. I play Brain Age too.
