    Default darn doctors

I had some blood test run two weeks ago (I believe my thyroid is messed up), anyways...I got a call from the nurse today saying that my results were abnormal and the dr wants to see me. That wouldn't be a problem except that he can't see me until next wed. This is soooo stupid. They did a complete battery of tests, so who knows what could be wrong. I guess if I were killing over they could have gotten me in sooner, but I hate not knowing. This is frustrating.

Ugh that waiting is the worst. Thinking good health thoughts for you.

Oh no, waiting is awful!! The worst possible things can go through your mind.
But, yes, if it were that bad they would want to see you right away!
Please try not to worry too much & good luck to you!
I'll keep you in my prayers!

Update. I don't have a brain tumor. My cholesterol is up. That's it. My current meds stopped working, so he changed my prescription and charged me another $67. I have to go back in 6 weeks for more blood tests to make sure the new stuff is working.

Glad that it was nothing too bad. Looks like they could have told you over the phone, though.

thanks everone. I am glad I'm not killing over yet, but if I have to spend any more money on dr's anytime soon I may die of a heart attack anyways.

I am glad that it was nothing more serious. I am sorry you had to spend for another Dr's visit for them to tell you something that could have been taken care of over the phone. I hope your new meds start working and your cholesterol is down to normal soon.
