    Default Had an MRI Today

I've been dizzy for over 5 weeks now. My dr thought it was an inter ear infection. Now she thinks maybe it's something wrrong with those tubes in your ears that help with maintaining your sense of balance. After we get the results we'll go from there Please keep me in your prayers. I'm not down and out but it is very hard to work around. I'm not a very good sick person!

I think feeling dizzy is one of the worse feelings there is. I will say prayers that they get this figured out really fast and that you will have a speedy recovery.

I do MRI. They are looking for an acoustic neuroma. If you were to have one sitting in the inner ear, they are benign and they can remove it easily. For people with history of acoustic neuromas, they usually have followup MRI's afterwards. Do you have ringing in your ear(s) as well besides the dizziness? There are many reasons for dizziness.

That's good. I myself have seen a neurologist for dizziness. After many MRI's, EKG's, etc... they have chalked it up to stress. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for ya!
