dh had surgery
he got hru it awesome! they couldn't remove the arthrities, nor the cyst, but they fixed the meniscus. he came home dn has taken only 2 pain pills. the nurses said they have never seen any one come out of recovery so fast. his surgery was at 7:10 and we were on our way home at 9:15. he was up and dressed and had eaten.
he got home and took the pain pills and got so sick, so i called the dr and asked for something else, but he has not had to take anything.
now if we can just thru the next couple of weeks money wise.
thanks for keeping him in your thoughts

I'm glad everything went okay, now take it easy and let time do its healing.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

~I'm glad to hear your DH is doing well! My DH has had meniscus surgery 3 times. The last time I had a toddler and was pregnant with Evie. We were fortunate, financially speaking, because our health insurance picked up the entire tab for surgery and physical therapy which totaled over $20K. We also collected workers comp. and sick pay. His recovery was very difficult emotionally for us. I'll be praying that that won't be the case for you! Maybe you can convince him he's on vacation! *Hugs*~
