    Default grandson is having surgery

    my 5 year old grandson will be having surgery tomorrow. he stuck a rock in his ear. when my dil took him to the er, they tried to remove it but only lodged it into his ear drum. so........ he goes in tomorrow morning.
    please keep him in your thoughts.

    omg I am so sorry he is in my prayers!

    mine choked on a penny one time thanks be to God hubby got it up!and then one time he stuck a bead up his nose and it got hung,when we got him to er it came out by itself.

    well we had to chickle, my daughter called him , and said nephew, what happened? he said"t.t. i am having surgery at 5:30, will you be there?" daughter replied yes, then she asked again "nephew what happened" and he said" t.t., i no tell my hands to put that rock in my ear." gotta love kids

    My son had surgery for the same reason(but it was lego), he came through it perfectly. I'm sure your grandson will be fine too, and I'll keep him in my prayers.

    Awwww, bless his heart. Praying all goes well for him.

    Reminds me of the time my 4 yr. old neice put a small, broken, purple crayon up her nose. When her mom tried to get it out, it went into her sinus cavity and she had to have surgery. The heat from her body melted it some and she had some purple snot going on there for a bit, but the ear, nose and throat doc said it could cause infection, so out it came. She also stuck a dried black-eye pea up there a few months later, but I managed to get that out. Dh informed his sister she needed to sweep more often, LOL!
