No... I've never heard of that! But I'd be willing to try. I've been getting nasty migraines for over 20 yrs.

I got allergy shots from the time I was 7 years old until I was 32. I seemed to not need them any longer at that point and am able to manage my allergies with OTC medicines now, but I wouldn't have survived many allergy seasons without them.

well my specialist said he thinks mine starts out as a sinus/allergy headache, then spawns into a migraine. these allergy shots are really helping me. i was getting so desperate & tired of taking tons of medicines, so i figured what the heck i'll try the shots. so far so good.

I had to give MYSELF my allergy shots daily. I was allergic to over FORTY things (diagnosed by doctors). It was absolutely horrible!
Them giving me the shots wasn't good enough because the attacks would be so bad I'd have to act immeadiately. It was a miserable way to live.
It was suggested to me (by someone my mom knows) that I try something called NAET. I had no clue what it was about, but at that point was desperate enough to try just about anything. We found a local practitioner and I went.
http://www.naet.com/
That is the website if anyone is interested. There are practitioners all over the place.
Warning! It looks as hokey as ALL get out! But I know oodles of people who've gone thru it and had excellent success!
I went from over 40 severe allergies, giving myself shots (the WORST day I had to give myself 15 shots...no, I'm not exaggerating...that's a day I can't forget), had 2 inhalers, ear drops, and nose spray (all prescription).
I now have ZERO allergies, NO prescription anything, a pretty darn strong immune system (had almost no immune system when I started), and am much healthier in general.
I can eat anything I want! Mow the lawn! Smell flowers! Breathe dust! It's wonderful! Such a blessing!
I'd encourage anyone with allergies to give this a try. It's WAY better than suffering thru with meds. The doctors told me I'd be on all of that the rest of my life. I say - no thank you! This is MUCH better!
