    Default update on my friend with brain tumor

    just thought i would post a update about my friend "ana" who had brain surgery on monday. her surgery went excellent. she is still in icu. i went & visited her today & the doctors think she might be paralized in her right leg from her knee down because she still don't have feeling in it yet. but they aren't 100% yet. it broke my heart to see her like that. the dr's completely shaved her head bald, and her whole head is wrapped in gauze. she is eating solid foods now, she should be moved out of icu possibly tomorrow. thanks for all your prayers.

    It is bad that she is paralized but at least it is something that she can adapt to. The worst case scenerio would be that she had terminal brain cancer. Now that would really be tragic. This leg being paralized may just be a temporary thing since the doctors are not certain. Let us just hope and pray so.

    I am keeping your friend in my thoughts and prayers. I am so glad that she came out of surgery and I wish her luck with regaining movement in her leg.

    I'll hope that her leg 'wakes up' soon and that all else continues to heal and get better, day by day.
