FYI: Health Info on the Internet

Recently I read a thread where someone expressed reluctance to look for health information on the web, and understandably -- there's a lot of misinformation out there. I work for the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in the medical school library. Several years ago we received a grant (I think) to develop a page of links to reliable consumer health information. The sites listed there are monitored by our staff of reference librarians, to ensure to that they provide accessible, understandable, and current information. If you are interested in a particular disease, procedure, or medication, this is a good place to start.
