Not frugal but will be helpful with arthritic pain
caused by working out and working hard. We bought a hot tub on Monday. They're gonna deliver it on Thursday

We had one that we bought used about 9 years ago. It was 12 years old, kept indoors and used very little when we bought it. It finally died, a slow painful death so we decided to get a new one. We shopped and looked at almost every hottub in the city and I'm not joking. It took as long as buying a car does for us. Anyway, it's done. We put it on our credit card (which we get free flyer miles on) for the miles but will pay it off completely on the first. I'm really excited. I wish it were coming today! Oh and the good frugal news is that my chiro. wrote me a Rx for it so I didn't have to pay sales tax! Woo hoo!!!! That saved about $700.

Who all has a hottub? What kind do you have? We bought a Hot Springs.

What time should I arrive on Thursday to try it out.

Seriously, congrats on your new hot tub. We don't have one yet, but one day we plan to. I think it would be so relaxing and I really think we would use it alot.
Approx. how much would you estimate it costs to run each month? Where do you keep yours? Do you use it in the winter?
Enjoy it!

I'm not sure what time it will be here but come over about dark and we'll be soaking

They say it averages about $10 per month to keep it 'ready' to use and use it. We keep ours on our covered patio and yes we use it in the winter except during really windy times. It's lovely to sit out there during one of those straight down snow falls..... . But when it's sub zero you can literally get icycles on your nose! Not a good thing.
I'm really looking forward to it's arrival.

Lisa, I am so jealous! We don't have on either, but would love to sit out on the deck relaxing after a long day.
Enjoy your new hottub! I know you will!~*Michelle*~

Pain is never cheap. Count off for the savings on not buying BenGay all the time, or Aleve, or whatever works for you, and you may come out even faster than you think! Of course, then you have to ask whether you should add on for those margaritas.... ;-)

We have a hot tub that we NEVER use. It is not located in a private area and I really don't want my neighbors seeing me and hubby soaking. Enjoy the tub.

Congratulations

I used to go exercise in our local pool and afterwards go into the hot tub and it really made me feel so much better. I wish I had a hot tub now to use but had to stop going to the pool due to illness and haven't been able to get back since
