Default went to teh pcp yesterday

i've been having pain in my right hand along my thumb and into my wrist for a few weeks ever since i woke up one morning and it was all twisted up under me.
so when i took ds in to get a booster shot i made an appt for me. after poking and twisting and such, she tells me i have tendonitis, some fancy name for teh specific tendon , but basically tendonitis of the tendon that goes from your thumb down through your wrist. so i have to wear a splint/brace that keeps me from using my thumb.so far things haven't been too bad. i did have to take it off to wash dishes. couldn't get the kids to do it when i needed it done. ds folded laundry for me.

but i gotta say, it's darn hard trying to change a diaper on a wiggly 6 month old when you can't grip with your dominate hand. lol

and somehow i have to get through 2 airports pulling suitcases on friday. i'm sure it will be a big misadventure

You sure know how to have fun. Hope it's feeling better soon so you can win the wiggle wars.
I've had tendon probs before and it really is amazing how much you use whatever part is affected everyday, never really notice until something like this happens.

I hope your hand is feeling better soon and that you don't have to spend long in the brace.
