Got home, was really busy and now am sick...
I think it's a nasty tummy bug that's going on around here vs. montezuma's revenge b/c I've been running fever and had the body aches as well. Normally montezume's revenge just causes frequent trips to the bathroom without feeling so poorly. I've been sick for 36 hours now and am getting better. Thank goodness for imodium. Anyone else had the tummy bug? I know lots of people here that have.....Dad has had it as well.

Here, a nasty viral cold (which I caught) and strep throat (DH caught) is going around because of our unusually cold summer. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

There's been some kind of stomach bug going around here as well, DD had it a few weeks ago and was up all night and half the next day as well throwing up. No one else got sick, only her, and I thought maybe it was something she ate, but we all ate the same thing. Several people at church have had it too.
Hope you feel better soon. DD's only lasted about 24 hours.

Any better yet? Do you know about peppermint helping tummies, or ginger (that's why ginger ale is the old remedy)? I haven't had that kind of thing for a long time, but have had a several weeks long case of dysentery that I almost died of in 8th grade (why do I get all the old diseases that you read about in history books but never hear of anyone having in the 20th century - and now we're into the 21st?)
