Shorty, can it be used as a moisturizer? I never tried that.

It feels like FIRE on my face. Must be the menthol.

annymoll---yeah, people seem to really love it or really hate it.

I began using it again (used it as a teen/young adult like everyone back then) after watching that scene from 'The Divine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood' where Sandra Bullock is in the bathroom at the cottage and gets in the cabinet and puts some Noxzema on her nose and remembers good times dancing with her mom and Noxzema on her sunburned nose.

Anyone see that? Made me run out to the store and get a jar.

Does anyone find that it dries out their skin? Is it even recommended for older skin? I'm 44.

My skin doesn't feel dry at all when I use it. I'm 39, my sister is 54 and we both still use it.

    changed4life--

Try the one that's more moisturizing. I think it's Noxz. PLUS, it has a bit of purple on the mostly blue label, and is supposed to be for normal/dry skin.

Let me know how it works for you, I am 53!

My best friend in high school used it, and smelling it makes me remember all those Friday and Saturday nights we spent at each other's home. I used it at one time, but my face was so oily it didn't really get it clean.

It says 'Noxema Skin Cream' on my lil mini sized tub. I'd use it sparingly though as I find it 'heavy' for my skin. Works in a pinch but not for daily use.

I've been using noxema most of my life. I love it. I usually get the wm brand too.

I got some from either dollar general or family dollar and I had to throw it out. It wasn't even close.

Yeah, Jettsmom, the huge jar I have here at our cabin is the WM brand (equate?) and it is EXACTLY like the Noxzema brand. But I tried one from --Rite Aid, maybe? And it wasn't the same. I use a lot of WM's Equate stuff. Usually half the price, and exactly the same as name brand.

I can't use it at all. It makes my eyes water and my face feels greasy and not clean. I have to use Ivory soap.
