For the sinuses and allergies...

I have a 5 year old right now who is taking zertec. I would love to get him off. I just read the sinus flushing thread and it was mentioned tea tree oil rubbed in the nose works. How long until it does? Also is there anything else that could help? He isn't good about blowing his nose so I doubt I could get him to do the sinus flush.

I too have kids with allergies and I am not hearing good things about alot of the allergy meds, I have found after much trial and error, that "redd remedies" makes a child sinus pill that works really good for my kids, if you have a health food store close to you, or you can order from their website.

Be careful with the tea tree oil, everything I have read says its only a topical, (so you wouldn't want to put it inside your nose).

I would suggest going to a health food store, usually their employees know a lot of information. You could also try an alternative healer someone that uses Eastern medicinal practices, they use a lot of herbs and tonics.

PS. My Dad has really bad sinus problems and I know for years he would use garlic oil to flush his sinus and it worked for him.
