Question Do others sabotage yourweight loss plan?

And how do you handle it?

I find everytime I'm on a weight loss program, others are always saying to me, "you've lost too much", or "have another piece of cake, it won't hurt", or "are you sick, I see you've lost weight". Ugh..... Sometimes I want to bop them over the head.

When your overweight your always getting comments too, so when you are on a weight loss program, can't people encourage instead of trying to sabotage your weight loss?

    Thoughts....

    OH man do i ever!

For one, Carl will start eating crackers at night or cereal..and it ALWAYS gets me craving it..or he'll order pizza and I'll eat some..

And I do get that 'you look too skinny' from some people..I hate it because that kind of talk will get me to gain weight again!

I remember a girl in highschool said I'd look better if i gained 10 pounds..after that I put my gaurd down when it came to food/exercise and I gained at least 20 ..and it didn't look good

I wonder why people find the need to do that. Is it because they are jealous when we lose weight, aren't happy themselves or are they concerned?

Either way, whether I've lost weight or gained it, there is always someone sabatoging it. I've decided this time I will ignore what they say and keep on my plan.

My husband is very supportive and very encouraging...he is a weight lifter so he is all for eating healthy. We don't even by junk anymore...every now and then we will go somewhere and have a ice cream or something like that....When I go to my parents house the temptation is really there...so I ususally sabatoge myself...lol...

My husband is my biggest supporter! He wants to lose weight too, but hasn't decided to make the commitment yet.

I don't think anyone sabotages me,except me.What hurt me was the last time I lost 40 lbs. nobody except Dh said much of anything. I was feeling like hey look at me don't ya notice anything different? Instead of nice new clothes for my b'day that year I got insulated coveralls and a table cloth.
This time I am determined not to base my worth on what others do or don't say. I am doing this for me.
