Went to the doc yesterday

and they did the obligatory pelvic and breast exam. I had gone in for a pap and to complain about another issue (i have had chronic diarrhea with blood

). So we did an exam starting at the top and working towards the bottom. During the breast exam she found lumps. During the pelvic exam she found a "questionable mass" internally. (Rofl, for the issue i came in complaining about we're gonna try a different diet before we go any further)

So now on the 6th i have to go in for a full physical and a mammogram and schedule some biopsies of the "questionable mass"

My nerves are shot. I am completely aware it could be nothing, it could be cysts, and it could be cancerous...and anything in between. I am not so worried either way. It will be whatever it is. But in the mean time my stress is to keep the kids as oblivious to the whole thing as possible. They're too young. And on top of that, DH's mom died not very long ago from her complications of breast cancer, so he's not dealing well with the prospect.
